Tristan Lieschke, a truck driver and farmhand based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, assembled a team and purchased the car for a box of beer. The car runs lovely he reckons.
The Kidney Kar Rally proudly supports Kidney Health Australia by raising funds to support Kidney Kids.
Every year rally teams drive thousands of kilometers across the beautiful Australian countryside with one ambition – to change the lives of children and young people affected by kidney disease.
The rally is not a race but a test of skills. It is for those who want to have an adventure with mates who crave something different, something memorable, but most importantly, it’s for those who want to raise much-needed money for kids who do it rough.
Tristan approached XSTRA to sponsor his team and we accepted the invitation.
Following the traditions of the Australian reliability trials from the 1970s, the Kidney Kar Rally is the best way to enjoy time traveling with fellow rally car lovers through stunning Australian scenery.
Well done Tristan. You are a top bloke and XSTRA has thoroughly enjoyed supporting you and your team.
