Email Changes

From now, whenever a log entry is made or an email is sent from XCRM to the client, the tech will always be BCC’d

You no longer need to click on the linked version of an outgoing email to read it


The new comms entry button has been changed to send email

And it has a new screen to go with it

The subject will be prepended with the ticket number to enable replies to come back to the ticket
The text is freeform – you can write/paste whatever in there – it will add a logo to the top and the following to the bottom:

The to: will always be the user on the ticket and the cc: will be the watchers

The details section of the ticket is morphing to a log of all activity. It will show log entries as well as indications when emails were sent etc

In a forthcoming release, there will be a change to make this log be sent to any watchers when they are added to a ticket

Closed tickets now have a re-open button on the ticket screens

Tickets now have a quote tab – this will be further developed in forthcoming releases to integrate with our quoting system

The quote number can also be added when creating a ticket
