Overview: For more than three years, XACCESS has served as XSTRA’s premier multi-factor authentication solution. As our client base has grown, approximately 95% of clients do not require the advanced capability set that XACCESS was built for.
What is changing
XSTRA will retire XACCESS for standard deployments and replace it with Duo, an industry-standard MFA platform better suited to most clients.
Why XSTRA is making this change
For most clients, Duo delivers the right balance of security, usability, and simplicity without the complexity of XACCESS.
Pricing
Clients transitioning from XACCESS to Duo will pay the same monthly fee.
Evaluation/trial XACCESS clients will move to a paid monthly Duo licence at the existing rate.

Clients with advanced requirements
XACCESS will remain where appropriate
Clients with complex MFA needs (advanced logic, location controls, shared logins, etc.) will continue using XACCESS.

For most clients this reduces complexity while maintaining strong MFA. XSTRA will contact affected clients to manage the transition.
