The order of the smileys has been reversed

This is the most common order to display them

SMS Functionality

On client records and on tickets, there is now a Send SMS Button

Clicking this will bring up the following dialog

Allowing you to compose and send a text message
The message can span multiple lines and is limited to 160 characters

This will send the text message to the user’s mobile number
If the user does not have a valid mobile number listed, it will alert you to rectify the issue

For tickets – only the user listed on the ticket will receive the SMS

Against the ticket and the user is also a SMS tab to show the history

This will show the status, date/time sent, Who sent it and when viewing the user, it will show the ticket number if it sent from a ticket

When you send a SMS to a user, it is recorded against that user
When you send a SMS from a ticket, it is recorded against the ticket as well as the user
So the user’s SMS tab will show all messages sent against all tickets

the triangle on the left will expand the record to show the text message that was sent

NB: you do not need to be in edit mode to send a SMS
